Congratulations! You have successfully completed this webquest! By
completing it, you should have learned how to search for
mathematical websites that contain games and found some of your own
personal favorites. You should also have learned how to evaluate
those games based on participation and now be able to judge whether
a game you find is a valuable asset to your learning or just a fun
thing to play during your free time.
Now that you've
heard your classmates' presentations and seen the games they found,
do you still like yours the best or would you prefer to check out a
friends' game that you think you'll like better? Please answer this
question in 3 sentences or less and turn it in by the end of the
period.
One big
question remains: To Play or Not to Play? Should we play the
math games you discovered, or should we go back to using the
worksheets and book problems I usually give you? I think the answer
depends on the topic we are learning! Some topics are better
practiced from problems from the book, while others I now think
would be better practiced using a game!
