Process |
Follow these
steps IN ORDER to successfully complete this WebQuest: |
PART 1: Investigate & Critique provided game websites |
1.
Investigate several of the sites and games included on the
Resources page of this webquest.
Examine several of these until you find two you really like.
2. Evaluate
the two sites using the "Site Evaluation Form" found under the
student section on
the Evaluation page. (You should
print off 2 copies to submit as
part of your final project.)
PART 2: Search for & Critique your own game website |
3.
Use a search engine of your choice to locate three math websites
not included on my list that contain math games. Print off
1 copy of the "Personal Search Form"
from the student section on the
Evaluation page of this
webquest.
4.
From these three sites, select the one with the best game based on your judgment.
Critique this game using the "Site Evaluation Form" found under the
student section of the Evaluation page of this webquest.
PART 3: Present your findings |
5. You
should have 2 "Site Evaluation
Forms" and 1 "Personal
Search Form"
completed at this point. See the Project Rubric found under
the teacher section of the
Evaluation page of this webquest to double check you have what
is expected in your project.
6. Be ready
to present your findings to the class in a
5-minute presentation (no
more than 10 minutes). Your presentation should be well-organized,
focus on the new game you found (the pros and cons to it), explain
why you recommend it, tell how it relates to your textbook,
and provide the site location to find your game. See the
Presentation Rubric found under the teacher section of the
Evaluation page of this webquest to view what is expected in your
presentation. |
