Process The first step in trying to get your package into the house is to learn about the six simple machines. Go to Simple Machines Learning Site and click on each simple machine. When you are finished take the quiz. If you miss any question go back and look at that machine again. Click here to go to a note taking sheet to help you complete this portion of the project. Now that you know what the simple machines are you are ready to visit some rooms in a house and identify some common objects that you use everyday that are actually simple machines. You will also be asked to name the simple machine for each. Go to Edheads Simple Machines, click on start and complete the activities for each room in the house. Click here to go to a note taking sheet to help you complete this portion of the project. You are now ready to move your package into the house. Write three paragraphs telling what simple machines you would use to get the package up the steps and into the house. You must also explain how you would use each machine and tell why you think it would work. Tell how using these simple machines made your work easier. Click on the Evaluation button above to see a rubric on what must be included in your paragraph and how it will be graded.
