I live in Ferguson Valley with my husband and five children. My oldest
son, Nick graduated from Indian Valley and is now attending Penn State
University. My next son, Nathan just graduated from I.V. and is now
attending Bloomsburg University. I also have twin sons named Zachary and
Ethan who are both in 11th grade at I.V. My youngest is Katie who
just entered Indian Valley High School as a 9th grader.
I graduated from Chief Logan High
School and went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree from Juniata College.
Later I earned my Master's Degree from Wilkes University. I have
taught in Mifflin County School District for 10 years. For the past
5
years I have taught at Union Elementary teaching 4th grade. In the past I
have taught 2nd grade at Strodes Mills, 3rd grade at Derry Elementary, and
Title I Math at Derry and Union Elementary.
I've lived in Mifflin
County all of my life. I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy
watching sports. My children are involved in sports at I.V. and at
Bloomsburg University, so I spend a lot of time watching sport in those places. My favorites are
football and wrestling! I also enjoy walking in the
mountain with my husband and dogs. I have a garden that I like working in and I
enjoy spending time with my pets. I have three dogs and a cat.
