IVHS and IVMS Soccer Meeting
Monday June 7, 2010
6:00 PM at IVHS Cafeteria
1. New PIAA physical forms- make sure you have the revised one (you can get them from the main offices or athletic office at IVHS)
2. Summer Practices:
a. High School:
i. Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Indian Valley High School at 5 PM-6:30 PM
ii. Wednesday August 3, 2010 at Indian Valley High School at 5 PM-6:30 PM- CANCELED
b. Junior High:
i. All junior high players are invited to attend above sessions with high school players
ii. Coach Young will have designated dates for practices as well
3. Car Washes:
a. Two car washes this summer: Saturday July 10, 2010 and August 14, 2010. All 2010 IVHS girls soccer players must attend both car washes.
b. Donations Only
c. Advance Auto Parts in Lewistown PA from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
d. Wear Red IVHS practice t shirts
8. 2010 Schedules
a. High School
i. View the 2010 Season schedule- very tough
ii. Central Mountain Game: Play for the Cure- Breast Cancer Night (more info to come)
iii. Attached is also the 2010 Schedule. There may be some small changes to the schedule depending on funding, availability of locations, etc.
iv. Preseason Information- very important (click here)
v. All players MUST be at all parts of preseason in order to play on the team. Organize work schedules and vacations ahead of time.
vi. Team Bonding Trip: Friday August 28, 2010 to Delgrossos. Cost is $20 per player. Players can enjoy rides, water park, go karts, and mini golfing. During the day they team will enjoy a meal together.
vii. Penn State Game on Sunday September 26, 2010- Meet at IVHS at 10:00 AM. Team will go to brunch together and then attend game. Players must bring $5.00 for bus and money for brunch.

b. Junior High
i. Tryouts/Fall Travel Team

9. 3v3 Live Soccer Tournament
a. July 31, 2010 at Lewistown Middle School and High School
b. We want all IVHS and IVMS soccer players to participate.
c. You will sign up today to play. If you know your team of 6 already, please write them on the sign up sheet. If you do not have a team, just write your name and we will place you on a team.
d. It will be a cost of $25 per player. Money will not be due until tournament.
10. Booster Club & Treasurer’s Report:
a. Booster Club: President: JR Ematat/Melissa Treaster, Vice President: Joan Lichtenwalner, Treasurer: Melissa Lamberson, Secretary: Heather Phillips, Concession Stand: All Sophomore Parents
c. Purchases in mind for IVHS players: New Uniforms (jerseys only), basic equipment not in budget, day trip, Day Trip to PSU Soccer Game, training at YMCA, team warm ups, and warm up t-shirts
d. Purchases in mind for IVMS players: Warm up t shirts, Day Trip to PSU game, and basic equipment
11. Duck Race
a. All IVHS and IVMS players are working on the Duck Race fundraiser

d. Very, very important for us to advertise and get as many people involved as we can. The goal is to really do well on this fundraiser and have it be our MAIN fundraiser every year.
