Course Objectives:
Students will be able to:
1. Classify data and identify appropriate experimental designs
2. Display data using graphs
3. Use measures of central tendency and measures of variation
4. Solve problems using probability rules.
5. Solve application problems involving discrete probability distributions
6. Use technology / tables to solve problems involving the normal distribution
7. Draw conclusions or make predictions from data using inferential statistics.
8. Use a graphing calculator and/or a computer program to solve statistical
problems.
