Colleen Snook, Head Coach

Colleen is in her third season as LAHS's head field hockey coach.  Snook coached 1 year as the Junior High Coach at Juniata Jr. High school in 2005 before arriving at Lewistown. Colleen is an Elementary Physical Education teacher at East Derry and Union Elementary Schools.

She earned her Bachelor's degree from Penn State University in 2005. At Penn State Colleen played on the Club Field Hockey team, and participated in Intramural Flag Football and Softball.
She was also a member of the Kinesiology Club.

Colleen is a graduate of Juniata High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society; Field Hockey, Basketball, and Softball teams. She was also a member of the Band, Chorus, and the Varsity J Club.

Colleen enjoys working out, camping, attending PSU football games, hanging out with friends, family, and playing with her dog Dugan.

Goal: To improve LAHS Field Hockey's team record, skills, shots on goal and goals scored.

 Assistant Coach Abby Peachey

The 2008 season is Abby's 1st  year of coaching field Hockey. Abby has 5 years
experience in playing field hockey at the Middle and High School level.

Abby is graduate of Indiana University of PA. and has a BS in Health and Physical Education. In college she participated in dodgeball, field hockey intramurals, helped with the Special Needs Activity Program (S.N.A.P.) and was also a member of the Health and Phys. Ed Major's Club.

Abby attended Indian Valley High School, where she was a 4 year member of the track team, and a member of the Varsity Club, Conservation Club, Library Club, Morning Announcements, and French Club.

Coach Peachey enjoys working out, hanging out with family and friends and playing with her dog Libby.

Volunteer Coach Karen Yohn

Favorite Quote: "The real leader has no need to lead, he/she is content to point the way!

Karen has been helping the LAHS team for the past 3 years, she also assists with the Junior High Team. Coach Yohn played field hockey for Juniata High School.

Karen earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and works for Northwestern Human
Services.

She enjoys being with family and friends and enjoys field hockey, swimming, and boating.

Her goal for the team is to improve their knowledge of the game, improve their individual skills, and to play as a team.
