Strength Exercises:

There is not one magical exercise for every person in every situation.  So called exercise "gurus" make millions of dollars

from a new exercise they may have "invented" or another way to do an old exercise.  A switch to a new exercise

will often show immediate results because of the principle of adaptation.  But these results will not continue  as new stimuli will be needed to create an adaptive response.  Below are some of the basic exercises in which we focus the program but we use a number of variations of these as well.

Main Strength

Squat

Bench

Deadlift

Main Accessory

Pull Ups

Dips

Bent Over Rows

Inverted Rows

Glute-Ham Raises

Lunges

Box Jumps

Standing Press

This is a sample of the many exercises we will utilize, but it is safe to say on any given day you can find our athletes doing one of the exercises listed above.

  • These are some of the more unusual exercises that may be utilized throughout our training cycle.  These are certainly not unique to our facility, as these types of movements are becoming  increasingly popular in many successful sports training facilities throughout the United States.

Hammer Holds

Tire Flips

Reverse Band Box Squats

Overhead Sledgehammer Chops

Band Assisted Pull-Ups

Sand Bag Hang Clean
