2. Write the title of the assessment task which will engage students in demonstrating this benchmark. Describe the task. Descriptive Animals Using a photograph of an animal, students will use knowledge they have from third grade science and write a descriptive paragraph about their photo. This will serve as an assessment of student writing skills at the beginning of the year.
