1.    Write out the Mifflin County School District benchmark on which the assessment task will focus.

2.    Write the title of the assessment task which will engage students in demonstrating this benchmark. Describe the task.

Personal Narrative

                Students will write about something important that has happened to them in their lives ( an event or happening of some type).

 

3.    What observable and measurable performance criteria will be used to judge what students know and/or can do?

Following the writing process

Using the 5 elements of effective writing

Use of sensory details, chronological order, and spatial order

 

Design a rubric or checklist to assess the task. Indicate the criteria needed for mastery. Attach to this sheet.
