Description: The instrumental music program involves teaching
students to read music, interpret notation, including melodic
accuracy, rhythmic accuracy, articulation, dynamics, and phrasing.
Other skills involved are proper tone production, correct
intonation, and interpretation of the appropriate style in a variety
of musical settings.
Required Time: Three years
Course Credit: ½ credit per year
