Atlantic Coastal Plain

The fifth region is the Atlantic Coastal Plain. It is a narrow strip of land in the southeastern corner of Pennsylvania. Like the Lake Erie Lowland, it is also a plain. It is along the Delaware River. It also has very rich soil. The very large city of Philadelphia is in the middle of this region.
