Conclusion

By completing this WebQuest, you were given the opportunity to travel back to the Wild Wild West and learn how the outlaws of that time were portrayed on wanted posters. By creating your own poster, you were given the opportunity to imagine how Kissin' Kate Barlow might have looked on her wanted poster. Would you have wanted to live during the time Kissin' Kate did? Are there still wanted posters today? If so, where could you see one? Discuss in a small group (no more than 3 people) the answers to the above questions.  Share your wanted posters and discuss what you learned. Learning more about these outlaws may interest you enough to use as a topic for a biography activity we will be doing in class this year.

Perhaps you enjoyed learning about your desert critter. Hopefully you have gained a better understanding of  how challenging and scary Stanley and Zero's trek to God's Thumb really was. Share with your family  what you have learned about these desert creatures.
