• This WebQuest can be used during the reading of the novel Holes as the story flashes back to the story of Kissin' Kate Barlow.

• Encourage the students  to use the evaluation page or the link to the rubrics frequently.

• The students can  create a general fact sheet on the animal they choose or they may choose a specific species of the animal.

• There is an interactive Holes website the students can work on if they get done early.  The kids love it! 

• You will need poster paper, construction paper, markers, and other art supplies available for the students to use.

• The Wanted Posters should be in black and white.
