| TASK: You will be assigned a first aid procedure. After researching your procedure you will group with other campers to produce a first aid manual. The manual should include the following topics: Emergency Procedures for Illness or Injury Emergency Assessment of the Situation Universal Precautions to Reduce Spread of Infection Development of an Emergency Plan and Emergency Reference Sheet Care of Open Wounds Care of Fractures and Sprains Care of Burns Care of Heat and Cold Related Conditions Care of Poisoning Care of Insect / Bee / Animal / Bites and Possible Allergic Reaction Care of Head Injuries Care of Choking Victim Care of Victim Not Breathing Recommended Items to be Included in a First Aid Kit.
